Port 8080

We have an ASG120 with a webserver internally. 

As of a couple of weeks ago we have been unable to access port 8080 on the webserver. 

Late last week it began working again, as of saturday afternoon we are no longer to access 8080. 

The kicker is no one has changed anything on the firewall. 

Anyone have any ideas?

    IPS and websecurity are turned off. 

    when I attempt to telnet to 8080 on the webserver I get this 

    09:21:10 Packet filter rule #7 TCP my.ip.add.ext : 26669 
     → int.web.srv.add : 8080 
     [SYN] len=48 ttl=119 tos=0x00 srcmac=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx dstmac=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx 

    also if I do a nestat on the webserver I see the connection coming through, but it does not seem able to get back out.
