Astaro 8.2x - AirVideo and RDP problems

Hi! I'm running Astaro 8.202 at home and I'm encountering some issues with the aforementioned services.

I've created NAT and FW rules to allow RDP and AirVideo (TCP/45631), and it appears to be working, I can telnet and all tests seems fine. Trouble is, RDP is really (really!) slow and AirVideo connects, plays video for a few seconds, and then stops. I'm only running the Firewall and IPS.

    I just wanted to chime in here. ACA, ACE, as well as loving Air Video, (24tb server). I recently switched from a Ubiquiti PowerAP N to a full out hardware Astaro Appliance for home since my internet bandwidth was reaching the limit of what that hardware could do.

    That said here are the settings that I enabled / created. To not only get air video to play both through DDNS also enabling the PIN feature so you can choose either way.


    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    For the Air Video PIN it's a firewall rule-

    Network Security
    Firewall
    New Rule -I named mine the following (Air Video Pin)

    Source:Internal Network
    Service:Air Video -All (more on this below)
    Destination: External Address (WAN)
    Action: Allow

    Create the Air Video-All sevice
    TCP
    Destination - 1112:1234
    Source - 1:65535
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    To get Air Video to play and not stutter or stop after a few seconds of playing you need the following DNAT Rule

    Network Security - NAT - DNAT
    New DNAT Rule
    Traffic Source: Any IPV4
    Traffic Service: Air Video (See Creation at bottom)
    Traffic Destination: External WAN
    NAT Mode: Destination NAT
    Destination: Your Server IP or Group IP's
    Destination Service: Air Video
    Automatic Firewall Rule: Yes

    Air Video Service for DNAT Rule

    Name: Air Video
    Type of Service: TCP
    Destination Port - 45631 (Default Air Video Port)
    Source Port - 1:65535

    Hope this works, as usual if anyone smarter than me knows better rules or ways to configure please chime in.

    This same setup works for Emit (Android), Air Playit HD (almost as good as Air Video for iOS and now Android with CUDA accelleration) and of course Air Video. Just change the rules/DNAT to match your ports/server(s) you have running.
