Multiple external IPs and virtual servers: how to link one to the other

Hi there!

we're running the Astaro appliance software for quite some time now. It's working fine, however, there is one thing I cannot seem to get going.

We have a block of external IPs and several VMs that are more or less linked to those external IPs with their services. The default is that all outgoing traffic is routed through the first interface.

Now, I'd like to link a VM to an external IP in such a way that all outgoing traffic of this VM is being routed through the specific external IP.

I've created an external interface for each external IP so I can publish services to the net on specific IPs, I've tried to mess around with sNAT but I can't seem to get it working.

So, is anyone having a clue how I can accomplish this?

Current:
[External IP DNS] -DNS-> [Astaro] -DNS-> [internal Virtual Machine]
[Internal Virtual Machine] -response-> [Astaro] -response-> [First IP]

What I'd like to have
[External IP DNS] -DNS-> [Astaro] -DNS-> [internal Virtual Machine]
[Internal Virtual Machine] -response-> [Astaro] -response-> [External IP DNS]

Let me know!

cheers,
Alex @ VMguru
