dropping packets

My internet experience is totally sucking because of all of these dropped packets. Not sure what is causing it, but it is seriously aggravating. When I want to truly "surf", I have been having to remove ASG as the router/gateway and plugup a linksys router.

Everything under "mail security" is turned off, but obviously I have the web filter on.

is this 8.2x? if so there are major problems with the newest release. Two choices..turn off http proxy and automatic QOS or download 8.103 and get your performance back with http proxy on.

Yep, 8.201. Seems like there would be some beta testing.

Anyway, I disabled web filtering and interfaces\qos were already disabled. Let's see how this goes!

Hi, when troubleshooting, always check both the IPS and PacketFilter logs.

It seems disabling the web filter has resolved all issues.

8.201 is the newest version at the moment. Astaro is working on an 8.202 up2date to address many issues in 8.2x. See http://www.astaro.com/lists/Known_Issues-ASG-V8.txt for details on which fixes are currently slated for this release.
