Live Update

For some reason lately I've noticed my Norton Internet Security's Live Update function won't download and install any updates. It indicates that a connection to the Live Update server has failed. I have checked my IPS logs and have found nothing there. I have created a web filter exception for Symantec Corporation . This didn't help. I'm using the proxy in standard mode and it seems that Live Update uses FTP,HTTP, and HTTPS from what I've read. Has anyone been able to find a solution?

    Thanks William for pointing me in the right direction. In my case I launched Norton and clicked on the Settings button and then Administrative settings and I found Network Proxy Settings and hit Configure to the right. I checked the box to use automatic configuration and gave it the location of my configuration file http://192.168.2.100:8080/wpad.dat .
