when i only got the NW-Security, what does the Socks-Proxy help?

    things that use tons of ports or that use port scanning and are a pita to open ports for.  skype and it's ilk are like this.  I got tired of chasing skype around so i setup the socks proxy and pointed skype at it....it nw works perfectly..[:)]
