Adding External IP to Internet Proxy

Release 7.510

How do I add an external IP address to have access to our internet when off site.
So when they go off site and log into our system via a trusted link they can view everything like files and applications, intranet but the internet does not work.

If I grant access to a raing of IP this will work but I cant find where I set this up in the Astaro?

Hi, Taff_Jones, and welcome to the User BB!

Could you be more specific about the quantities of external clients and of internal devices? Also, which Astaro subscriptions you have; Full Guard? Network Security? Web Security? Mail Security?

Usually, I'd recommend using the SSLVPN Remote Access capability to create access limited to some or all internal devices.

Astaro Gateway Security
We have two sites linked by a 100MB Lease Line.
I have domain trust in place and my users can go to the other site and log in and work fine but they are not able to surf the internet.

I need to set up a rule in the firewall to allow a raing of IP address in for instance 10.167.0.0/16

We have many devices and potentualy lots of devices coming in.

The ip address rainge is trusted.

If I understand correctly, you have remote users that are not in either of the two sites linked by a leased line. If you have a Web Security subscription, then you need to add {10.167.0.0/16} to 'Allowed networks' in the HTTP/S Proxy. Depending on the mode you're running the Proxy in, you'll also need a masquerading rule for {10.167.0.0/16} and a Packet Filter rule allowing the needed outbound ports.
