we've got a little problem activating our iPhones with the UbiSuite.
First of all a little overview about our equipment.
We use a private APN for our mobile devices.
Those get a IP-range from the carrier, which is directly in our network.
So all mobile devices are pingable from every our computer.
To manage all the mobile devices we use Ubitexx Ubisuite.
What works:
we can connect to the suite and install the CA from Ubitexx and install a profile from our company
didn't work:
we don't get the MDM profile, where we generate permissions for some apps, camera aso.
what strange is:
if we establish a WLAN from a computer from our LAN, and connect the IPhone to our Ubisuite it works when we also use the normal carrier (not the private APN).
If we just use the WLAN without mobile data, it doesn't work.
so we think there is something in the firewall which blocks something that the iphone gets from the "normal" carrier.
has anybody any idea about that ?
