I've been wrestling with FaceTime ports for a while now and I'm not sure why i can't get it to work like it should. I read though another thread that gave some port example and good ideas but nothing was working for me. I finally checked apple's support page (Using FaceTime behind a firewall) again it had an updated list of ports to open. I set it up that way and i was able to facetime via the iphone to iphone. I did notice that the time it took to connect the call took a good 45 seconds longer to connect verses when i just allowed everything though (temporarily of course).
I have a group of service definitions setup for the ports listed on apple's page and thought that since the iphone worked that the ipad would also just work.
I have checked the IPS logs and found that its not getting caught up there. It seems like its all in the packet filter. What i am finding in the packet filter log is this:

Every time i make a FT call i notice that a log entry like the one above is entered with the outgoing port being different. I'm guessing the problem falls under what apple calls "dynamic opening of media ports".
If anyone can help me shed some light on the issue i would appreciate it.
