OK ive been killing myself with this all day and cant seem to get it right. I have a little bit of a strange setup here, let me try to explain.
I have an Astaro with 3 nics. 1 public(24.x.x.x) 2 private (192.168.0.0, 11.11.11.0) I need to have the users on the 192.168.0.0 network communicate with the 11.11.11.0 network. Now if IP my desktop(thats connected to the 11.11.11.0 switch) with an IP address of say 11.11.11.5, it allows me to access a subnet of 10.10.10.0, which is my real target.
So i need to go from say 192.168.0.5, to 11.11.11.2 to 10.10.10.5 if that makes sense.
So the way i have it setup right now, i have my computer running on IP 192.168.0.5, in the Astaro - 1 nic is 192.168.0.1 and the other nic is 11.11.11.2.
I've tried dnat, snat etc going with source 192.168.0.5 destination 10.10.10.5 destination 11.11.11.2 and with playing with this all day I was able to get as far as be able to ping 10.10.10.5 from my computer at 192.168.0.5 but it would not let me RDP to it. The packet filter would show grey connections from NAT and green items saying its allowing me to connect to the 10.10.10.5 but it never connects.
Im sure i have these settings all messed up, so basically what do i need to do to get this up and running? dnat, snat, full nat? a miracle? hah any help is appreciated.
