Hello,
I recently installed a new V8 asg and since then i am unable to download from my newsserver using Grabit.
I get error about being unable to connect to news.yabnews.nl:119
How must i setup to get this working?
In wich log should i look to find out dropped connections?

    Hi, check the PacketFilter and IPS logs.

    Have you setup Masquerading and PacketFilter rules?

    Thanks for the reply!
    In my Packet Filter log i see following rules:
    Default Drop TCP 192.168.1.204:51077 -> 94.232.116.67:119
    Default Drop TCP 192.168.1.204:51078 -> 94.232.116.67:119
    Default Drop TCP 192.168.1.204:51079 -> 94.232.116.67:119

    Masquerading and packet rules i have tried, but i am not sure if i have them set up properly, so currently i have no in place.

    You're going to need to add a rule that allows your internal IP (or network) to use the NEWS (NNTP) port/service (port 119) to go out to the Internet.  You also need a Masquerading rule that allows your internal network to use your Internet port for outbound traffic.

    The Astaro, like most enterprise firewalls, will install, by default, with everthing blocked.  However, during the initial install wizard phase, there is the ability to have the device self-configure some common settings; did you do that?
