Packet filter: url template

Hello. Sorry for my english, it isn't my native language. Can someone please help me with such a question:
I would like to allow (or block) a set of domain names by a template. For example, I need to block 123.site.com, 321.site.com, whatever.site.com, etc. Can I use a template? I tried to choose in packet filter rule "DNS group" mode and write there *.site.com, but it doesn't work. Is there any way to use templates like this, or should I enter any of these addresses? Sadly I have no possibility to use Web security due to the license limitations.

Hello, and welcome to the User BB!

A DNS Group definition is used for a single, specific FQDN that resolves to multiple IPs because it has multiple A records associated to it. A DNS Host definition can be used where you are certain that there only will ever be a single IP associated to an FQDN.

That means the answer to your question is "no," there is no way to use name servers in the way you imagined.
