Enable blackberry traffic

Hello,

I am strugling to get my bes server to connect to the blackberry server srp.eu.blackberry.net on the outside of my network. The port to which our bes server must connect is 3101. When I add a packet rule for allowing port 3101 from my bes server to the internal interface from my astaro this works, but when I define a packet rule my external interface on port 3101 to my bes server it doesn't work.
Does anybody have an idea why this is not working?

Hi Peter,

You don't have to create separate rules for each hop. Just create a rule with your BES as the source and Blackberry's Server as the destination. Astaro will know how to handle the rest. [;)]

That is too simple. Have made a packet filter the way you told me and it works like charm.
