Internal Server Load Balancing ?

Is it possible to use the Astaro Server Load balancing feature to create a internal Service Distribution for Services like Cifs ?

What i want to create.

A Virtual IP with a forwarding to three cifs Servers. The Access Controll is done by the Server cluster in the background. What i want is a virtual internal IP that sends the clients in a RoundRobin Distribution to all three servers. I one of them is down the clients will only be send to the two working ones. Thx in advance.

You'd probably want to put an Addtional Address on the interface connected to the servers. For example "Servers" on the Internal interface, and then the virtual server would be "Internal [Servers] (Address)".

Does that get you where you want to go?

Yes one internal IP to distribute the traffic to a bunch of servers behind.
