Symantec LiveUpdate

I just installed symantec anti-virus and I can't get liveupdate to work. According to symantec web site liveupdate use http,https and ftp witch are all open for the internal network. And anyway I don't see anything blocked on the live log while liveupdate is running. I did try to open everything for the internal network it dint help... I tried with the http proxy on and off still not working... I really don't get it. Is there anyone out here that actually made that work?

    same issue and have done all of the above. I have an issue with netflix not wanting to stream even with the streaming media check box checked. I added the exception and all would work, but creating a exception for the symantec live update is not working. I noticed this issue started to occur after the up2date ran and installed 8.03 a couple of days ago. My outbound traffic is set to allow all and nothing shows being blocked in the live log.
