uplink balancing, multipath ???

as our T1 is now overloaded with users browsing we are looking to add a cable modem and push all browsing over to the cable modem and keep the core business items like e-mail, vpn, etc on the T1.
Can I use uplink balancing/multipath to specify which protocols go to which connections? For example, I can't have e-mail ever using the cable modem and I don't want general browsing being done on the T1.

I saw some general info in a pdf earlier, but it didn't answer these questions. I'm off to look for more documentation.

ok
we scheduled some downtime to turn on the uplink balancing, but we did not need to - just started working once we clicked enable. For the cable modem nic we put in a static gateway route and then traffic was able to flow out the cable modem nic.

As I understand it - as long as I do not change my nat settings for my mail server to use the new "uplink interfaces" it will continue to use the nic for the T1.

now I just have to figure out why we are only getting 6-7 mb download on the 25mb cable modem. Using ipcop firewall we see around 23mb down - hooked to the asg we get about 7mb tops.
