Hi,
I was having severe JAVA issues w/ hanging/crashing Stock Quotes until I found out why.
I kept getting a different reported IP address using whatsmyip.com with internet explorer on my Lan computers which F%$ my NAT rules on WAN 2. Since my NAT rules are different with each WAN IP......big problem.
Originally I had .195 which was perfect. I only want one Public IP Wan assigned for my Local LANs. say x.x.x.195. I have been given 5 ips static.
1 public wan ip = webserver x.x.x197
1 Public Ip = security cameras x.x.x196
1 public ip = Lan computers x.x.x 195
only one cable internet connection.
Why did I have the correct IP showing (lan Computers) .195 last week but this week it changed to .197 causing slowness/ hanging. I did have a power failure last week due to tornado in NYC ...for real.
I even used the below multipath rules however my ip .195 was at the bottom position. Now I clicked the up arrow and now made it my first choice and voilà its works? I still don't understand why last week it worked in bottom position.
Does this order really matter even if I use By Bind Interface to correct WAN .195?
Select an interface from the Bind Interface drop-downlist. All traffic applying to the rule will be routed over this interface. In case of an interface failure and no other matching rules the connection falls back to default behavior.
