how to block by MacAddress

Dear all,

Can u help me, how to block user by mac address?
I just know block just by IP address, but when user change the IP address the filtering don't work.

Hi Ghufron

Try implementing

U can block mac-address but for this u have to enable dhcp in ASG.
Go to network services>>DHCP Server(Create a new DHCP server)>>Static Mapping

in static mapping select the dhcp server from drop down menu and put the mac address and the ip address.

Dear rahul,

yes I do this, but it doesn't work, becouse the user can change the IP address. to another IP.
and in the packet filter we can just block by IP and service not MAC-Addres !!

I think astaro can do it, like mikrotik or router.
