SSL VPN and VoIP Issues

Hi,

I have just finished reading through a number of threads that relate to site-to-site VPN's and VoIP QOS.  Besides my head hurting does this also relate to the SSL VPN?

I have a home user who is using Avaya SoftPhone at home via the Astaro SSL VPN.  The quality changes so much it is almost unusable.

Any adivce/info most welcome.

    Based on comments by AlanT in QoS for VoIP via IPSec VPN, I don't think you can do QoS at all on the SSL VPN.  There is no option to copy TOS values to the encapsulating packets in SSL as there is in IPsec.

    IPsec is your only choice if you want to do QoS.  Even then, with no Astaro at the home user's place, the only QoS you can do relates to what he will hear coming from your office.
