Odd IP addresses in PF log

Hi,
I have a v7.506 ASG with the wireless function working accessing the internet through a v8.001 ASG.

I originally set the v7 ASG up in bridged mode, but decided that wasn't the way to go. Reports still show br0.

I am using  10.X.X.X range for the WAP network. The issue is I am seeing the 10.x.x.x network devices using port 80 appearing the PF logs of the v8 ASG which I find as strange.
The v7 ASG has the http proxy enabled in transparent mode with the parent proxy active.

wap (10.x.x.x) -> ASG v7 (192.168.10.233) -> ASG v8 (192.168.10.1) -> www (203.x.x.x)

    br0 part is strange but both your ASGs are on the same subnet so routing is messed up.

    I am not sure what you mean?

    The v7 ASG has its own internal address range and its external interface uses the v8 ASG as a gateway eg it is acting as an ISP.

    Pure speculation on my part but you are masquerading 10.0.0.xx to 192.168.10.xx on v7 and also have some kind of rule allow all internal to external on v7 since you are just using it to get the AP working. Therefore both v7 and v8 can see 10.0.0.xx address.

    you are correct, I am running PF/MASQ and proxy. 

    Interestingly the wireless connections picked up IPv6 addresses from v8 box without relay enabled, that also has me puzzled.

    This is my attempt to overcome the v8 deficiency.

    I am investigating NICs with POE, I expect to have a quote for one on my home mail tonight.
