WebEx and others of those kategory

Hi all,

has one found a way to block tools like WebEx, LogMeIn or others of that kategory ?
Maybe with a IPS Rule ?
WebEx uses port 80 or 443 but not the http/s protocol its their own proprietary protocol.

I dont want to start a discussion on good tools bad tools its not allowed in my Company but some users ask for it, searching Gigabytes of logs is not the solution and if i try i found no complete list of all IP-Adress i have to look for.

Yes, you want to block "Anonymizers" in Http/S.

Bob, I'd think that two or three of the following sub-categories would be more likely:
Web Meetings
Remote Access
Resource Sharing

thanks for your help.
Do you mean sub-categories in http-proxy Contentfilter ?
If yes do you know a way to do this wih the ips?
We do not use the http-proxy of the ASG because our Serverguys use a windows Server with a proxy :-( untill now i found no way to change this state.

Hi, yes, we're talking about using the HTTP Proxy/ContentFilter.

I don't think the IPS or IM/P2P systems have blocking for this kind of http traffic.
