IPS exception causes high CPU

Hi there, adding an IPS exception cause high CPU and non-stateless connections like SSH or IPSec are unstable...

Our Sys: V 7.506 on ASG 320 

Added Exceptions: DNS host (dnl-00.geo.kaspersky.com,... up to dnl-09.geo.kaspersky.com)

After deleting (deactivation was not successful) the complete exception everything went ok.

Any ideas?

    Hi Tricco,
    I cannot help you, but I have noticed that dns host belongs to kaspersky. I had to add an exception for kaspersky servers too, so I asked to their support a complete list of the server used for up2date, or at least a subnet address, but they replied that the host names change frequently and are comunicated to kaspersky client everytime it ask for updates. So I think that your attempts to create exceptions are quite useless because you will have to manually and frequently add other hosts...

    the question was about, wheter IPS exceptions can cause high CPU and unstable connections. 

    but as i can see, you added successfully exceptions without having any troubles concerning IPSec connections or any other issues.

    so it must be an individual problem.
