setting QoS

Hi!
If internet speed is 4Mbit/sec (down and up) and local network is 100Mbit (switches and all 10PCs have 100Mbit NIC), is it correct to set it this way:
eth0 (internet) = upload  and download 4096 
eth1 (local) = upload 102400
                   download 102400

    Goldy, are you sure that it's not important to configure the download speed, too?  From the User's Manual (my underline):
    Download Equalizer: If enabled, Stochastic Fairness Queuing (SFQ) and Random Early Detection (RED) queuing algorithms will avoid network congestion. In case the configured downlink speed is reached, packets from the most downlink consuming stream will be dropped.

    Hi.
    It's work great for me this way for a long time.

    Sending you an example of my QOS for ADSL lines, controlling P2P uploads.
    Since I have ADSL lines, I have to see that The P2p don't block the upstream and by this, interrupt other services.  

    If you want to control the Downloads, use the Lan QOS.
