Different QoS rules for each failover uplink?

I'm using 2 WANs in a multilink failover scenario. The throughput of the primary link is 10Mbits/s and the secondary is 5Mbits/s.

With a QoS rule, an specific internal application is limited at 4Mbits/s and the rest of the network uses 6Mbits/s. It works well when the primary link is up.

But when primary link goes down, the application uses the same 4Mbits/s and the rest of us goes crazy with only 1Mbits/s.

There is a way to specify different QoS rules to different failover scenarios?

Thank you all!

  • The answer to your question is "No."  The Astaro can do bandwidth limitation, but it's usually better to guarantee bandwidth instead. Please describe the traffic you limit now and the traffic that is too slow when the 10MB line fails.
