I have a fresh install of ASG 7.504 which has replaced a Netgear firewall. The only problem I am havnig is routing incoming syslogs from a remote server. This was working fine through the netgear fireall so I know the remote server is setup correctly. I created the DNAT rule like all the others which work. Allowing from the specific host and routing to an internal server. I then created the firewall allow rule to allow syslog (UDP 514) on the WAN port. But no UDP 514 packets ghet routed to the internal syslog server. Not do I even see any UDP 514 traffic in the packet filter log which is strange.
Does anyone have any ideas? I have even changed the source to be ANY just to try it out and still no UDP 514 packets seem to be hitting the WAN port?
