Multipath rule - by interface and not listing them

Hi there,

We have two active WAN connections on our ASG box.  I am trying to setup a couple of multipath rules.  we have two subnets and everything is currently going out of one WAN.

I am after getting all internet traffic on each subnet to go out of each of the wan connections.  After a bit of looking around I am looking at using multipath rules.

I am trying to create new multipath rules and I have created the source, destination and traffic source (HTTP).  On interface persistence i selected by interface.  Unfortunately when I try and select the interface below nothing is listed.  Is this a bug or has anyone else experienced similar problems?

I was expecting the bind interface drop down to have all of the interfaces listed on the device.

Have you activated Uplink balancing (Type: Multipath) and added both wan interfaces to the list?

I haven't as yet! I didn't realise the two were linked.

If i activate uplink balancing will the traffic stay as it is on the network?

If you want the multipath rules to have any effect you will have to activate uplink balancing (mutlipath). Then you will have the option to select which WAN to use in your multipath rules.

As long as you have not configured the multipath rules traffic will be distributed over the listed wan interfaces. But once you activate this I'm not sure if there will be some seconds of outage to your internet connection. So if that is essential you might want to move changing this to none-business hours.

Yes, I think I will plan the change for out of hours to avoid any problems!
