VOIP Security No Audio

Hi,
i´ve dropped all our internal VOIP Phones (aastra 57i) into VLAN 10 (Voice VLAN). Now i activated VOIp Security and added our external SIP PBX an VLAN to the settings of the VOIP Security details. Our VOIP Phones register but there is no audio communication possible. All rdp packets get dropped by the packet filter. Do i really need to open the RDP Port Range? If i have read it correctly the voip seurity systme should identify the rdp ports for a voip call out of the register paket when the phone registers. Seems not to work here. How can i identify the Problem? Are there special logs on the cli where i can debug the voip security system? Masquerading is enabled for this vlan by the way.

The second question would be that i´m planing to switch tp sips an srtp (full encryted voip). Can i use these version of VOIp Security System for that without opening ports staticaly??

    Hi,
    you need to create some service groups for the non standard ports that your VoIP phones use.
    Then add the definitions to the VoIP services group. I would set them up as UDP and TCP, just to cover all bases.
    You don't need any packet filters, there are automatically generated by the VoIP security function.

    You should be able to get away with using the ssl voip ports. I am only guessing here as I haven't tried them.

    Thanks alot that did the trick... :-) I´ve devined other rtp ports than added basicaly at astaros voip service grous. Now it´s working without opening port ranges :-)
