Blocking Foreign Countries

I know this has been asked before because I've searched and found a few threads on it like this.  However I'm not fully understanding.  Lets say I want to drop anything and everything from CHINA.

I've went here and selected china to produce my list.  I can't import this list into Astaro from what I've read.  So whats the next step?

Do I have to goto Definitions --> Networks --> Create a network type and choose the netmask?  Then create my packet filter to drop this traffic?

    Yep, there's no easy way to import this list; you'll have to enter each of them one by one (especially the non-contiguous ones), then create a group and drag each of them in there.

    According to Framework: Location (GeoIP) Blocking  ... this feature will be available in the Version 8.x release of ASG, which I believe is going to be available for beta pretty soon.  This should make what you're trying to accomplish much simpler.

    Is there any way to manually add the info in a console session? Does the gateway use iptables? I just installed the home version yesterday so I haven't had a chance to delve deep into it yet, but I was wondering the same thing, seeing as how most/all of my malicious traffic comes from russia/china.
