Video Conferencing on port 1720

Hi guys,

I'm at my wits end! Not had any luck with this.

Got the Astaro software firewall, V7.502, and I'm trying to set up a video conferencing system.

It connects over port 1720, but I can't get them to come back in on that port. I've configured the NAT to forward the traffic to the VC box, I've put a traffic filter rule in to allow all traffic on that port to the VC box... and still nothing.

The support for the VC asked with Astaro was 323 aware? Anyone know?

    give me a try: It's a Sony?

    Here we had the same problem. Our Sony was behind our ASG and the other connected to the internet directly.

    In our ASG we set a masq for our video system's network against our external additional address. We configured DNAT to for incoming packets on our additional address and two ANY pfr too.

    But the communication with UDP was gone from the other device to our internal address on our external interface. So we setup NAT in our Sony against our video network's interface (ASG IP).

    Hello,

    I have a similar problem with a Polycom setup and my Astaro will not allow it to bridge from the outside. The bridging service wants me to open all ports past the 1720 to allow their bridging equipment to negotiate with us.  But it picks whatever port it wants to land on!  I cannot open that many ports just for it, so we were going to bypass the firewall and go straight to the router, but is there a configuration that will tell Polycom to stop on a particular port I tell it?  Thanks.
