Load balancing?

I am interested in using the load balancing feature on Astaro 7.504.  I have some HAProxy boxes and thought it maybe more efficient to just do it at my Astaro cluster.

How well does this work for most people?  I avg about 50Mb/s a day, most of which is HTTP traffic.

What is the package astaro uses for loadbalacing?  Just curious since I have experience with HAProxy.

    So you've got a very busy site, or you're serving a lot of video.

    ISTM that you should stick with HAProxy, or buy a hw load balancer. I've had good experiences with Coyote Point, and they're competitively priced.

    Yeah, fairly busy and serving lots of large media.

    Would like to test and see how well it works but the failover times are an issue for at this point.  Would be nice to just know how well these perform for future reference.
