I'm new to Astaro so bear with me.
I have an application, in this case it is an online poker game, but it could be any app. It doesn't start with the default rules in Astaro. Even if I turn off the web proxy, it still doesn't start up.
Is there an easy way I can look to see what exactly is being blocked and what I need to open up? The web site doesn't give detailed information on which ports need to be opened.
For the heck of it, I create a " any -> any" rule and things work. I would expect they would, but what exactly have I don't by doing that? Have I entirely disabled the firewall? I still pass 'stealth mode' via grc.com and the AV protection seems to work. How much have I exposed myself by creating that 'any->any' rule.
