i'm using ASG as a active-passive cluster on my 3 ESX hosts running 100 clients and 20 servers. Now my question is, is there a possiblity, to create a "third" ASG (Essential version) to have a backup for cluster failures, as there was already a crash a couple of times. My idea was , to create this third ASG on the third ESX host, give it an public IP address (We possess several, so this is no problem) for being able to log in in case of problems with the cluster. With this, i will still be able to manage my infrastrucure even if the cluster crashes.
