Editor in this Astaro Distro?

Okay, now I want to create/edit scripts in the Astaro ASG v7 shelled environment. What is available for doing that? I tried "Pico" and "Nano" but got "Whut?" for a response.

Any suggestions, or will I be forced to use VI?

I have used joe. it is a simple editor and built in. I have never had the time to sit down and learn vi myself. Will someday though because it is very powerful.

Hi, JOE is setup for WordStar emulation, and JED is available with emacs mode configured.

Both Joe and Jed actually support many different emulations, fyi.
