Unable to change Attack Patterns in IPS

If I try to make any changes in the Attack Pattern check boxes it gives me this error:  'One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect.'

I have always been able to change these values in the past.  Running Home ASG with 7.501

    Running 8.101 now and still can't tick or untick attack patterns in IPS?  How do I clear or reset the attack patterns to the defualt set of rules?  I think this issue may be from a currupt or unused pattern that still is in my config...

    There doesn't appear to be a way to reset just the IPS portion of Astaro, so it looks like a full factory reset would be the way to achieve this.

    After doing a factory reset would I then load my backup or would I need to rebuild the entire config?  Thanks for your reply.

    The problem that you'll run into is that if you restore the backup config, you'll get your current IPS config back, including any problems that may exist.
     
    Another thing that you can try is install a temporary Astaro to a virtual machine for the purposes of manually documenting the default IPS settings.  Then you can modify the settings on your production install to match.
