Help with CallVantage - really PASSTHRU question

Very excited - just got Astaro v7.5 downloaded, installed and basically functional. I am moving off of AT&T Callvantage within a month as they are discontinuing their product but still need to get VOIP running. I've looked through these threads/posts and see one or two posts from Barry and such but just still can't figure out why I see the Centillium adapter's UDP packets totally being dropped by the Default DROP. I am used to other routers having the 'Port Forwarding' thing so the DNAT/Packet Filter thing is throwing me a little. I have my Centillium at 192.168.1.250 and tried to put in rules for it to ATT group (192.43.0.0/16 + 203.167.239.129:123) and added QoS for Callvantage but now I hear just a blip.
How do I just open that host (the Centillium) to get and give everything it wants, no filters, etc?

Also, do you have masquerading enabled for your LAN?

I'm using the VOIP Security features now, and that is simpler, but before that existed, I just used 2 PacketFilter rules for outgoing SIP and tFTP from the VOIP adapter (docs say it uses tFTP to pull ROM updates).

I tried to use VOIP security with SIP servers pointing to AT&T servers - not what Barry stated in a 2007 thread but what I saw in the Packet Filter live log I saw the Centillium trying to hit.
I haven't tried the masquerading - what to configure there?

Hi,
Go to Network Security - NAT
You'll then be on the Masquerading page.
Check if you already have a rule for your LAN networks.
If not, hit "new masquerading rule", and click the yellow folder icon and drag in your LAN Network, and choose External for the interface.

Save it, and then you'll need to enable it by clicking the red traffic light icon next to the entry.

Yes, it's there. It just has Internal -> External.

Yes. I can do normal PC stuff from other PCs. I just can't make a call. I get dialtone, dial the number, hear just a 'blip' and silence and see the Packet Filter log dropping a slew of UDP packets from the Centillium to 2 or 3 different servers.

Are the dropped packets all on the same port, and is it 5060?

I just got home - picked up the phone, dialed my cell, the Centillium port going out mostly was 10000 and all to 12.194.239.134:18584 but before and after the call, it comes from 61524 and goes to 123. There's nothing on the Centillium, it's standalone.
Very frustrating.

Ahh - the before and after going to port 123 is going to host IP 192.43.244.18
