PPTP through ASG

Hi there!

Because of a new ISP and serveral other causes i had to install an ASG 110 in my Home Office (one of those which can't be upgraded for 7.4xx).

Everything is fine but i could not manage it to connect a PPTP-VPN to my company. We are also have a ASG there, but the PPTP Connection is still handled by Win2003 Server. At home use Vista PCs and 7.306 on the ASG with the c't magazine license.

The Problem is that my PPTP Request comes not through my Home ASG. There is nothing blocked / shown in the Packet Filter even when i disable the default Terminal Application Rule. The Internal Network and the VPN Pool are masqed to WAN Interface.

Now i need some Ideas where to start debugging. I already searched around here but nothing seems to fit for my Problem. Has anyone an Idea where the Packets get lost?

    You can upgrade to 7.4.  It's just that you will need to balance the number of users with the active services.  In fact, if you don't change your configuration, 7.4 will run about the same as 7.3.

    If you aren't seeing any blocked packets in the packet filter log, then maybe you have a routing problem,  Can you mark the relevant packet filter rule to log so that you can confirm that your packets are going through the Astaro and have the correct destination address?

    i can confirm that no pptp packets come up in the filter log. standard gw on my pc's is the astaro. if i try to login via ssh to my company for example, packets are shown in the log from the default terminal application rule. 

    my asg@home is also configured as a transparent proxy for http/https requests. maybe there is another module active on the asg which handels pptp requests unwanted? i'am not that deep in the asg yet and the question is where i can look further for debugging.
