Can this be done???

Ok setup

Win XP client with 3 users. Can i login & have full use of apps (P2P) for eg but if another user logs in this is blocked at the ASG?

Since it is the same PC im not sure if this can be done. Useful if it could though.

    I'm not sure you're asking.  The Astaro works at the periphery, so it doesn't have any effect on the traffic inside the network.

    If you wanted one user to have IM/P2P, but not another, the Astaro can do that only if the two users have diferent IPs.  Unlike the HTTP Proxy, exceptions can't be made by name.

    If both users have different login names on the XP machine, and the apps you want are not internal, you could define local users on the astaro and use proxy profiles with basic authentication. Users would have to enter name and password (once if the choose to store it) and be assigned specific profiles allowing / disallowing the apps
