Trouble with Hamachi - HELP!

I did a quick search on this, and only found 2 articles. 

Both of them didn't really help much. While I was able to open a simple port forward for another third party application. I was not able to get all of the traffic that is going over the Hamachi 5.X.X.X network to flow properly without being touched by the Astaro gateway...

If anyone is able to help with this, please let me know.

    Hi,
    I think you have a misunderstanding in your configuration.

    Simply you would use a packet filter rule to allow 5.x.x.x out

    internal network -> any -> hamachi -> allow

    define hamachi in the network definitions as hamachi 5.0.0.0/8

    Here is what I have done...

    Packet Filter --> New Rule --> Source - internal Network --> Service Any --> Destination Hamachi-Network

    Allow
    Always

    Hamachi network = Network, address - 5.0.0.0, any, /8

    All of my hamachi links, are still BLUE which means relayed [:(] -- everything is killer slow.

    Hi,
    I think you misunderstand the ASG, it will examine everything that passes it, that is what it is designed to do.
    I think what you are seeing is the NAT function of the ASG. You probably need to determine the ports that the hamachi network uses and do a 1:1 mapping in SNAT rather than MASQ.

    For the Hamachi product there are 2 areas of concern.

    Services:
    First you need to allow the announcement port of TCP 993 outbound.
    Second, as Hamachi uses a random UDP port number to connect all UDP from 1024:65535 will need to be allowed from your internal PC.

    Destination Networks.  
    Unless you know the exact public IP you will be connecting to I would suggest allowing Any as a destination.
    Source: MyPC  Service: Hamachi773  Destination: Any
    Source: MyPC  Service: AllUDP  Destination: Any

    Or if you don't feel like messing around with port ranges for general gaming:

    Source: MyPC  Service: Any  Destination: Any

    Do you mean DNAT in the above paragraph? 

    I may be wrong and please correct me if I am, but I thought... you set a fixed port for UDP & TCP in the Hamachi set-up and then port-forward that port using DNAT on the Astaro from "any" to the private address of the Hamachi host machine within your network. It seems to work for me although I have been noticing an increasing number of relayed connections recently, so maybe I'm wrong...?

    It would be good to get a definitive answer on one this from the Astaro techies. (Also the same method should be useful for Skype as well)
