Internal LAN unable to ping each other Setting Emabled

Title says it all my internal machines are unable to ping each other but they can ping astaro and access the web. I have allow ICMP on firewall and through firewall, Also Firewall is Ping visible, ping from firewall, and firewall forwards pings all enabled.. I am running the lastest version of Astaro 7. Any thoughts???

how are these machines on the lan connected together via a switch? If they are, astaro shouldn't even come into play to block connections between the machines on the lan, do you have firewall software on these machines, if so try disabling it as a test.

Hmmm yes it is on a switch... There are no other firewalls enabled. I have tried this on linux, vista, and xp machines.. I will restart my switch maybe that will fix it.

So I restarted the switch same issue, switched it out with another switch and it still does not work. Both switches have work fine in other setups.. What could be causing this?

What happens if you disconnect the Astaro from your network?

Are your internal machnes all on the same subnet? If they are, then like dilandau says, Astaro isn't in the picture, but then it could be a local setting on your internal machines (firewall in Windows 2K8 for example).

I am not sure what or how this happend but I think my machines were using stale information (I was switching back and forth between my two separate lans). Rebooting the machines wouldn't help either, but I shut down all my machines over night and this morning booted them back up and everything seems to be working as it should...

If someone else has similar problems, I bet it's the ARP tables. Rebooting the right switch probably would have resolved travis' issue.
