Need route between subnets

I have two subnets setup on Astaro.  I have a main one I use for most activity, then on the other I just have a wireless access point that is pretty much wide open to the internet that guests can use (called DMZ).  Occasionally I want to log into the wifi router from my main network, but because it's a different subnet, I can't get to it.  I don't know much about routes, but I think there is a way to create a route or something that will let me get to my DMZ access point.  How do I do this?

  • You don't need to add any routes, only packet filters, to allow access between different subnets directly connected to the Astaro.

  • I set this up and now I have an issue where the Astaro drops the connection between the two subnets. I checked the setup and all appears ok. Any suggestions on why it would work and then suddenly stop?
  • Hi, systems, and welcome to the User BB!

What do you mean by "the Astaro drops the connection" - what do you see?

What version of Astaro?  When you try to connect between the two subnets, what do you see in the Firewall (packet filter) log?
