Hi Folks,
after a time where we have banned Skype from our LAN to an other separated network unconnected to our main we've to set up Skype again...
Order giving person only sees it doesn't cost any money for communicate with other persons or business partners but isn't interested in security points. So I downloaded Skype's business version and the .adm for windows gp. With this adm you can deactive that the client becomes a supernode and other things. [Zumindest] you can read this as the options explanation.
I set up the client to use a specific port for outgoing and port 80 and 443 to. We use a rule for port 443. After first connection I set up an other rule for Skype using the specified port via UDP to any IP.
Furthermore I made an exception for a group of computers using Skype. But some of this clients couldn't connect to Skype network...
Is there a better way to use Sykpe and Firewall? Maybe tuning the registry?
