ADSL (PPoA) public addresses and DMZ

I downloaded the software version yesterday and want to configure it as follows:

1)  external interface to internet
2)  DMZ - mainly VOIP phones and external servers such as SBS
3)  Internal LAN - workstations, and home media setup

The phones may get their on network later as may the home media stuff but Im going to take it step by step.

I have a netgear DFG834G router with an a.b.117.113/28 address range and ant to put those public addresses in the DMZ somehow.  All the rest of the config I seem to be able to sort out now, after much reading of the web site and forums.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Hi, 
    Ideally, you'd bridge your router (or remove it if you have an ethernet connection).

    Then, you can have Astaro use the IP that the router was using, and assign the rest of the network to the DMZ.

    If that's not possible, you can probably use Proxy ARP or Additional Addresses to forward traffic into the DMZ.

    I have spend the day not getting bridging to work.  I have a few netgear dg834g routers and a couple of belkin ones.  no joy with any. I am attaching a fe samples from the log.

    I dont know what ip addresses to put in the config - despite reading dozens of posts / kb articles / manuals.

    I dont mind buying a new device if it ill make this all work.  I have also been looking for DSL Network Guide which is referred to on page 83 of the manual but searching the kb does not find it.  

    Im really impressed with the parts of the gateway I have got working but any help with this issue would be much appreciated as without this I wont be able to adopt the product !

    e.g.
    Internal address of router
    internal network
    ...

    I have the netgear in modem mode.

    I have tries 192.168.0.1 for the netgear, 192.168.2 for the firewall /24 mask
    also 10.0.0.1 - 10.0.0.2 /24
    also a.b.117.114 0 a.b.117.113 / 28  (public IPs)

    I dont really know what IPs to use - the router doesnt seem to say what it should be and the fw is meant to be on the same network as the router as far as I can see 

    I have the DG834G netgear.  I have both v3 and v4 ones.
    As alternatives I have a sitecom dg224, Belkin F5D8631-4

    To get this working ill happily go and get another if needed
