IPS checks traffic to see if there are patterns that look like attacks. Your Astaro has 7200 different attacks that it is prepared to look for. For example, if you don't have an Oracle server, those checks can be turned off. Not all of the checks are turned on in your Astaro; only 4635 are active.

From where i can check pattern /how do i get list of ips patterns ,does it check our local network (which clients,server we are using and according it put ips rules ?) if i add more machine (winodws 98,2000,windows server 2003.linux server) will show more number (current 4635)
Is is not a question of the number of machines, just the different things running. Look in 'Network Security >> Intrusion Protection' to disable IPS and to see the choices you have. Rules are like virus and spam patterns and are replaced or added to when needed and are automatically downloaded and installed.
