Windows Home Server

I have a windows homeserver on my network that I want to be able to access remotely via the *.homeserver.com. It is unable to resolve the dynamic DNS settings to be able to access files and RDP remotely, etc.

I was wanting to know if someone had this setup successfully and could share the configuration?

You need to setup two or three nat rules. There is one for remote control which I cannot recall at this moment but look on the home server web interface tab and it has a link that tell you.

You also need to setup nat to Https and http. Personally I have only setup to Https as I am loath to open up port 80 (http).

It just means that when putting in the web address you need to put https at the begining of the address.

FWIW, Many residential ISPs block port 80 incoming.

And they tend to block SMTP inbound / outbound as well...
