POP3 Question

We have one user who is connected to our Internal LAN (eth0) via a Wireless Access Point. This Access Point runs in bridged mode so that the Astaro is the DHCP server for wireless clients.

This particular user is a heavy email user but I cannot see statistics for him under Mail Security >> Top E-Mail Recipients.

I am 100% certain that he sends and receives over 120 emails per day, however, he was nowhere to be found in Top E-Mail Recipients.

Anything on this issue?

if he SENT 120+ mails he don't have to appear in top RECIPIENTS...

POP-proxy active?

Hey,

1) Yes, POP3 Proxy is on and there are numerous email addresses in the TOP 10 list.

2) There are users with 50, 60, 70 emails in the TOP 10 list, since this user is sending over 120+ a day, he should be in the top 5 or so of this TOP 10 list.

3) This user also RECEIVES over 150+ emails per day, everyday.

Is he perhaps in your transparent mode skiplist?

This is off the subject, but have you configured RADIUS to control access to your network via the Access Point?

What's he using for an e-mail client? Where is his e-mail server? Is he using non-standard ports or encryption?

He's using Apple Mail (OS X Leopard 10.5.5)

The email server is the same email server that all of our others users fetch email from.

He's on a standard POP3 port (110) and sends using SSL on 465 (I can see his sent emails FYI)

No encryption / No RADIUS
