Only Protocols that are proxied work.

Hi, I have masquerading setup along with the proxy in transparent mode.
I'm trying to use the git protocol(tcp 9418) on one of my workstations, but I cant get out.  I have an any rule from my internal network to the Internet, shouldn't that do it? Where did I go wrong?

    I'm not familiar with git.  If you have the HTTP Proxy enabled, then that allows port 80 traffic into your netok through the Astaro.  If you want to allow another port, you must do that explicitly with a packet filter rule.  Of course, you could set up a generic proxy, but that might be overkill.

    if you want to use the proxy for that protocol add it to the allowed services list in the http proxy menu.

    I am still a little unclear how the proxy handles non proxied protocols, I suspect they get dropped unless an exclude/bypass in the http proxy menu and then a packet filter rule is added. Just adding a packet filter rule doesn't seem to work for me.
