Hello everyone, have a bit of an issue. I have a few computers on my network that retrieve their email off secure isp pop3 servers. If i open all ports the connection to the server is fine and they can download the emails, however, if i just open ports 995, and 465 I get nowhere and they can not connect to the isp's mail servers. I've been staring at this thing forever and the answer is probably staring me in the face. Any help would be appreciated.

One other issue maybe someone can shed some light on. My firefox web browsers running on linux machines can't seem to connect without entering proxy information, even with the http proxy set in transparent mode....what could cause that?
