I have the 7.302 software working, except I can't get an FTP server to be visible from the outside. I can connect to it from inside the network (so the server works -- vsftpd), but outside I get no connection and no indication from the Astaro as to why not.
I have a DNAT rule: (any) ftp (any) destination (machine Pig) (ftp). Auto packet filter rule is checked. Machine Pig has an internal IP on this network. The DNAT rule is active.
Under Web Security | FTP I have the proxy turned on (but that's just for outbound, isn't it?) and (internal networks) selected in the "allowed networks" box.
I can ping (external IP) and it responds.
So, any suggestions as to what I'm missing would be appreciated.
I have also done equivalent things to try to get SSH running, and again I can log on from inside (so the ssh server's up) but no response at all to a logon that traverses the firewall.
Also, if I'm missing somewhere in the logs that this would be reported, someone could point that out. I've worked with Sonic Wall firewalls but in comparison I seem to be able to get nothing useful out of the Astaro logs.
