Astaro Freeze / IPS

Many apologies if this has been on a previous post.  About 5 weeks ago we installed astaro 7.2 and this morning the firewall froze
with no traffic being allowed to go anywhere.

The following was seen in the logs.

2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 1
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 2
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 3
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 4
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 5
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 6
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 7
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 8
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 9
2008:07:25-09:28:16 (none) kernel: ip_queue: full at 1024 entries, dropping packets(s). Dropped: 10

This seems to be related to the IPS / snort as when it is disabled we do not receive any further freezes.

Has anyone come accross this message before or any ideas on how to alleviate the firewall from freezing.

Kind Regards

Mat
