Hi,
In ASL 7.201, I've got a bridge between my LAN interface, and another LAN interface for my Wireless AP (Linksys wrt54g in AP mode, not routing).
I tried using ether-wake from a linux laptop on the wifi to wake up a PC on the LAN, but it doesn't work.
1. Should it work through the bridge?
2. If not, what are the conditions for what gets through the bridge?
3. Will WiFi carry a WOL packet?
I had originally setup the bridge to support a uPnP device on the wifi net which needed to talk to a computer on the LAN, but I haven't hooked it back up yet.
4. Can uPnP broadcasts go through the bridge?
Yes, I know I can use ether-wake on ASL, and it DOES work with the PC in question.
Thanks,
Barry
